Terminal Zero move seamlessly from sonic blast to suspended silence. With bone-crunching guitars and seismic beats driving an interplay between the perpetual bounce of electronic pop and the melodic, angst laden geo-political core of Peter Nattrass’ vocals, this Adelaide base four piece have carved out a contemporary heavy rock sound that lifts a room and moves the masses.
“An absolute show and a half, with the combined musical ability of each player, the connected sound of identical twin brothers …… and the impressive stage presence and deliverance of words by front man Peter Nattrass. Terminal Zero are a whole other kettle of fish experienced live.”
In 2019, Terminal Zero will take to stages across Australia and beyond to stoke the kinetic energy of music enthusiasts with blistering live performances of their genre defining second album Control.
Building upon EPs Rule the World and Once Around the Sun, and their first album Cold War (2017), Control lifts the bar. Terminal Zero have engaged the services of two-time Aria nominated Producer and Australian Nu-Metal overlord, Richie DW Norton of Superheist, to push the creative limits of the band to help create their best music yet. Control captures the synchronicity and creative drive of twin brothers Simon (Drums) and Matthew Warnock (Guitar) and Heath Newman (Bass) rounding out the backline. Captivating melodic and hook laden performances by renowned vocalist Peter Nattrass draws upon the bands’ alternative and modern electronic rock influences, to engage audiences in contemporary and heartfelt issues that resonate.
“The stage presence of Terminal Zero, as well as their overall vibe with their incorporation of electronic samples and programmed lights, they have a huge new age sound.”
The first single and video clip for the new album Control is called Famous which has already gained strong traction with their solid supporter base, and opened the door to a new legion of fans clocking up thousands of views and new Facebook page likes and sparked further industry attention.
